- Ooops, I was the original poster on this problem. I found what was happening
- after all. The workbench would open on a normal 15khz screen. When certain
- programs launched, they were automatically promoted to Double-NTSC. When
- the Early Startup Control was changed from Best Display to ECS display, all
- things cleared up. Thanks for trouble-shooting. BTW, I have a monitor but
- my friend who was testing a recently-resurrected A1230 didn't. That's how
- this confusion started in the first place. He had a composite-only monitor.
